The Lenape Chamber Ensemble has been Bucks County’s resident Chamber Music Ensemble since 1975. The Ensemble is a non-profit organization devoted to the performance of music selected from the complete chamber literature for up to nine instruments. Musicians are chosen from the best that New York and Philadelphia have to offer, and have come from as far away as California and Europe.

The Lenape Chamber Ensemble presents its 37th Season of concerts starting in October. Once again the Ensemble will present Friday evening concerts at the historic Upper Tinicum Lutheran Church in Upper Black Eddy, PA, where the fine acoustics and rural setting contribute to making this series a unique experience. The Sunday afternoon concert series takes place at Delaware Valley College, Doylestown, PA, in the heart of Bucks County. Two children’s “Concert in the Round” programs are presented on Saturday mornings in the fall and spring at Delaware Valley College.

During July of 2012, the Ensemble will present its twenty-sixth season of Summer Gala Concerts on July 7, 14 and 21 at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown.

The Friday series, Sunday series and Children’s concerts are supported by Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA), the regional arts funding partnership of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency.
